Consumers will spend more from USD74 billion for the games in 2011, with games such as Farmville will lead, says technology analyst firm predictions from Gartner.
Gartner also predicts that the number of users who play games around the world, whether it be through hardware such as consoles, as well as application software, such as the Angry Birds, also will rise 10 percent later in the year 2011.
"During the year 2010, consumers spent approximately USD67 billion for the gaming sector. For the year 2015, the number will increase to USD112 billion, with online games like Farmville and Cityville, its good enough for the next five years, "says Brian Blau, Research Director at Gartner.
"The online Game itself calculated for USD11,8 billion of the total amount of funds spent on games by users around the world.
