Follow Back Not needed aymore to send DM in Twitter

Twitter changed their rules regarding to feature Direct Messages (DM). Users are now able to DM to any other users, though they are not in the follow back other users.

As quoted from TechRadar, Tuesday (5/7/2011), Direct Messaging feature previously only restricted to use by users who are in-follow back which they follow.

Some observers say that this change is unpopular policies, given the later DM spam will appear, as well as other similar spam messages.

However, the business sector appears to be sufficiently benefited through the ' liberation ' of DM, because communication is closed between the business will be easier.

However, it is said that this policy applies only to Verified Accounts. Until now there hasn't been any official confirmation of the Twitter about it.
