Chrome, a browser from Google, for the first time control of 20 percent of the global browser market during the June, according to the report of the analytical firm, StatCounter.
The report entitled Global StatCounter Stats also says that Chrome is now on top of the Firefox to the South American region, as well as compete hard with Mozilla's browser in the territory of the United Kingdom.
StatCounter says that Chrome gained control of 20.7 per cent of the global browser market, rise from 2.8 percent in June 2009. Then at the same time the attainment of Internet Explorer (IE) down, from 59 percent to 44 percent, so does Firefox, from the original 30 percent to 28 percent.
"This is a tremendous achievement from Google, of which was under three percent two years ago, now get 20 percent," said Aodhan Cullen, CEO of StatCounter.
"In South America in April, Chrome has surpassed the Firefox browser with the largest being number two in the region," he added.
StatCounter said that Chrome in the United States (u.s.) own the browser has the percentage of 24.7 per cent. While in the United Kingdom amounted to 21.1 per cent of its accomplishments is, compete with Firefox which has a percentage of 21.7 percent. In the United Kingdom alone IE still leading with percentage 46,4%.
While in Australia, IE still holds 45 percent of the browser market, followed by Firefox with 25.7 percent. In April, Chrome passes Safari browser achievement with 7.9 percent. Then at the end of June Chrome has had a number of 16.6 percent above Safari which only has a figure of 12.5 percent.
