After WordPress 2.2 gets 330 thousand downloads in 24 hours of launch, now WordPress has a new achievement which has strengthened by more than 50 million blogs.As quoted from The Next Web, Monday (11/7/2011), WordPress has a counter at the main site, which calculates the installation of a blog on their servers.
"Total blog at WordPress has reached 50 million!" wrote Andrew Nacin, Core Developers of WordPress on his blog.
According to the WordPress, currently they have hosts 302.882 postings and 270 thousand comments. It means there are approximately 210 188 posts and comments coming in every minute of it.
In addition, statistical data on WordPress also suggests there are 77 million words written on their blog, almost double the size of the Dictionary Encyclopedia Britannica.
