The popularity of the iPad not just makes the iconic Apple's tablet as King in the tablet market of the world. Chief Executive of Business software Group MicroStrategy, Michael Saylor even claimed iPad can monopolize the market for tablet.
"Consumers really are redefining the market smartphones and tablets. Even though Android is able to attract the attention of consumers and be an alternative to iPhone, but on the iPad tablet market is the only successful mass-produced products, "said Saylor at the Conference on Social Media Marketing & ecommerce in Monte Carlo quoted Marketing Magazine, Thursday (2/7/2011).
Although noting the satisfactory performance of Android smartphone market currently, Saylor claimed that Google output platform must be able to continue that success over the past six to nine months in advance if you want to catch up to Apple in the tablet market.
According to Saylor, Android must also present different appeal from Apple. "(Otherwise) Apple will monopolize this market as they do Windows on a PC," he said.
