SAN FRANCISCO-Google has now presented for the first time the mapping software, photo-sharing and web-browsing to society in Iran, but blocking access to Iran Government computer.
Google collaborates with some of the official u.s. to create Google Earth, Picasa and Chrome, so that it can be downloaded in Iran. Such as quoted from AFP, Wednesday (7/1/2011).
"For the first time we present Google Earth, Picasa and Google Chrome available for download in Iran," wrote Neil Martin, Export Compliance Programs Manager of Google, in a blog.
"As the terms and conditions of license export of our programs, Google will continue to block the IP address that is associated with the parties to the Government of Iran," explains Martin.
Sanction of the US Government to the Government of Iran previously banned download software there. Now some of these restrictions have been withdrawn.
"Our product is specifically designed to help people communicate, share opinions and find information," said Martin.
"And we believe that with more products, more options, more freedom, more power to individuals in Iran," adds Martin.
