CALIFORNIA - When the user wishes to view 3D content on the iPhone and iPod Touch, then Hasbro is the answer. Multinational enterprises toy maker has just released its newest product, namely My3D, a pair of 3D glasses with a connection to iPhone and iPod. These products deliver 3D content and gaming experience 360 degrees.

My3D reportedly will be sold to retail price of $ 30 and will be available next year. The device looks like a View-Master (a tool to view 3D images), and is intended
for children and adults. Similarly, as quoted by Mashable, Wednesday (11/10/2010).

Based on reports from the Associated Press, Hasbro in product development is guided by Apple. So if Hasbro is rumored to also work with DreamWorks Animation in the development of the material. Dreamworks Animation has some fairly successful 3D movies, including the recently released 'Megamind'.

Hasbro also said that My3D will use 3D content from television networks such as Discovery Channel and other content from Sony and IMAX.

The way this is done by Hasbro to attract movie studios is good enough to promote the 3D content that will be present at the cinema and give the user experience of 3D entertainment at home. But the question is, whether this step is enough to attract developers and consumers to use the device and its contents are?

Creating 3D content is not cheap and that's what Hasbro face. For something like My3D to be successful, need games and content that exceeds the advertising for the films are introduced.

It would be interesting to see if Hasbro can do these things. With a price of $ 30 may be many users who try it.
