ENGLISH - A Lithuanian truck driver nationals jailed for having crashed , through the limits and drinking while driving. Detention of this driver is using a virtual court.

Kestutis Turlekas arrested for using a virtual court, which is a collaboration of North Kent police station in Northfleet to Medway Magistrates Court. So that was quoted from Yahoo News, Wednesday (11/08/2010).

Kestutis involved in a collision in Wrotham Road, England on Sunday around 16:15 pm local time, and was immediately detained by police after failing to pass the breath test.

Example Kestutis breath samples showed levels of 122mg of alcohol on his breath. Meanwhile, safe drinking and driving limit is 35mg. Kestutis was charged with driving straight past the safe limit of drinking and driving two hours later.

Then the punishment was decided immediately Kestutis 84 days in jail and banned for driving for three years, through the virtual court.

Method of virtual court began its launch last year, with a pilot stationed in London and Kent.

The prime minister said that the method of virtual courts such this could save 10 million euros a year in England.
