Google Voice applications available for iPhone
WASHINGTON - Google launched Google Voice service for the iPhone after previously terjeadi long dispute with Apple which attracted the attention of the lawmakers the U.S. telecommunications.
Christian Brunschen, software engineers from Google, wrote on a blog that Google Voice service for iPhone is available for immediate download on Apple's online store, the App Store. Similarly, as quoted by AFP on Wednesday (17/11/2010).
"We bring the experience of Google Voice on the iPhone to a new level with the official launch of Google Voice for iPhone applications," said Brunschen.
Google Voice allows users to combine the number of homes, offices and mobile into a single number. This service also allows users to make cheap international telephone calls, send SMS messages for free and provide a transcript of the voice-mail messages.
This service is temporarily available only in the U.S. and requires a Google account aja Voice.
Google and Apple last year involved a dispute about the Google Voice for Apple's iPhone, which argued that depriving core telephone features that are designed into the iPhone.
The dispute attracted the attention of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission who sent 'a letter of investigation' on Google Voice for iPhone applications to Apple, Google and AT &T; iPhone exclusive distributor for the continental U.S..
