Justin Timberlake Invest in MySpace

MySpace not only managed to find a new owner, but also got a large publication from the sale after one of the investors of this social networking is a mega pop music star Justin Timberlake.

Digital media company Specific Media recently rumored to buy MySpace USD35 million worth of News Corp. apparently, Timberlake is one of the investors who participate in purchasing it.

Instead of just being an investor, former star of the Group 'N Sync's ready to play an active role to develop new MySpace.

"As part of the deal, Justin Timberlake, Grammy and Emmy Award winner, also holds shares of ownership and would have a major role in developing the strategy and creative direction of the company in the future," according to the explanation of the Specific Media as the cited Cnet, Thursday (29/6/2011).

"Specific Media and Timberlake plans to expose their vision to this site through an exclusive press conference no longer."

Unfortunately, Specific Media reluctant to divulge how much the investment expended in the purchase of MySpace .

This is not the first business ventures run by Timberlake. Until now, he's still one of the owners of the William Rast clothing brand, owner of the golf course Mirimichi in Memphis, the founder of record label Tenman Records as well as the creator of 901 Silver Tequila.

Last November, Timberlake is also known to emit USD2 million for a startup image Stipple. In addition he was invested to the developer Tapulous application, which was eventually acquired by Disney.
