Gmail Interface in iPad Version changed after being criticized
CALIFORNIA - As if not to be outdone by the new layout of Yahoo Mail version of the iPad. Google also helped make some improvements to the iPad Webmail interface.
Google Mobile team announced that significant changes will be made mainly on the interface, to make it easier to manage multiple messages. So that was launched MacWorld on Friday (08/20/2010).
Previously, Gmail interface is split into two toolbars, one in the bottom left of the toolbar common, and one in the upper right for a conversation that is being executed. It makes simple tasks such as deleting a message is very confusing its consumer.
"Two of our toolbar I was very confusing for users iPad. And now in the stage of improvement," said one Google engineer via his blog.
Now, thanks to the use of CSS3 transition and change the interface, Gmail version is more closely resemble iPad Apple Mail app. Selected messages pile on top of each other; single menu to control them now present exclusively in the upper right corner of the screen.
